He-man.org will close in 5 days.
He-man.org has been a staple of the Masters of the Universe community since the early days, originating as an email list that worked to document episodes before anything (not footage, not lists, nothing) was available online. It grew into a sprawling, multi-faceted beast of a thing, including an encyclopedia (an in-house wiki), merch lists, a marketplace, forums, anything you could think of.
Several years ago now, the main site went down for updates/maintenance. For a few weeks, we were told, maybe months. The forums remained open for fans to communicate, and barring a period of downtime earlier this year things were going smoothly.
Yesterday, the owner of the site, Val Staples, announced the site would be closed on November 14th, 2023. Six days later. We are currently attempting to contact him, to see if he’s interested in selling, and if he means closed as in “no new posts” or closed as in deleted entirely. Regardless of its eventual fate, the archiving of these forums is essential to preserving the history of the franchise, the fandom, and the brand.
Tumblr media
TO SHE-RA (and MotU) FANS SPECIFICALLY: I have personally used these forums to answer questions that could be answered nowhere else. Had I not had access to them, I would never have been able to prove that Purrsia was fake, or found so much unpublished concept art, or discovered that Scott “Toyguru” Neitlich personally wrote Catra’s MOTUC bio (even if he’s put off answering my questions about it for over a year now). Forum members have conducted interviews with the likes of Jon Seisa, Cathy Larson, Janice Varney-Hamlin—essential figures in the very foundations of POP, and those interviews revealed and recorded priceless information for future generations (me! you! us!) to find. Did you know Cathy Larson named Adora? That she originally pushed for “Dorian”, after her own daughter? We cannot let this treasure trove disappear into the ether(ia).
TO THE UNAFFILIATED: Please help. Pretty please. If you’ve ever liked my art or my writing or my haphazard blogging, ever, at all, consider archiving just one board. Just one page. Literally anything helps. I am spiraling into madness & this is my library of Alexandria. The mythical one that was totally unique and persevered nowhere else and was destroyed in a single cataclysmic event. Pretty pretty please help.
HOW TO HELP:
Archive.org has several ways to upload shit but most of them are longer term than “a few days” so we’re focusing on two (which can be run simultaneously): Save Page Now, and browser extensions. From their help page:
1. Save Page Now
Put a URL into the form, press the button, and we save the page. You will instantly have a permanent URL for your page. Please note, this method only saves a single page, not the whole site.
Tumblr media
We want to keep outlinks and screenshots wherever possible. The Archive does not keep your IP address, so your submission is anonymous.
2. Browser extensions and add-ons
Install the Wayback Machine Chrome extension in your browser. Go to a page you want to archive, click the icon in your toolbar, and select Save Page Now. We will save the page and give you a permanent URL.
Tumblr media
One plus to installing the extension is that as you surf around, when you run into a missing page they will alert you if we have a saved copy.
More extensions, apps, and add-ons:
Firefox add-on
Safari Extension
iOS app
Android app
I strongly encourage you to use these tools even if you aren’t helping with this project/after it ends. Documenting and preserving information is essential in this day and age & The Internet Archive is at the heart of it. Please support them however you can.
I’m serious about paying you, though I may need more communication with folks I don’t know so we can coordinate/verify shit gets done. I think this is a worthwhile pursuit in itself but I recognize your time is valuable & like, people gotta eat. DM me if you’re interested and we’ll talk. I may need to adjust pay depending how many people bite but I’ll do what I can

The best days at the precinct were the ones with no work. No crime scenes to investigate, no files to sort, no nothing. But they weren’t your favorite because you hated your job and the workload (quite the opposite, actually). No, they were your favorite because you could have some alone time with Connor, playing the little game you always did.
As head forensic psychologist, you were primarily tasked with interviewing suspects and analyzing their reactions. Your job got a lot harder when Connor joined the department, making your job look so much easier than it actually was.
Rather than view him as your rival, you viewed Connor as a challenge. You wanted to prove (to yourself more than anyone else) that you were just as good at your job as any android. Besides, you respected Connor’s interrogation process far too much to hate him. Or rather, you liked watching him during his interrogation process. Really, you just liked watching him in general.
When there was no work and the precinct was nearly empty, you and Connor were allowed to take over the interrogation room. You would sit across from each other, doing everything you could to make the other break in a mock interrogation.
It was there that you found yourself, hands neatly clasped atop the table and brow raised in arrogant curiosity. Connor stood opposite you with his palms pressed against the table, scrutinizing you with narrowed eyes. His eyes scanned over you as he tilted his head in that annoyingly endearing way before pulling back and rubbing his hands together in thought.
“Do you believe Lieutenant Anderson is a good mentor?” Connor asked.
The two of you always asked each other meaningless questions, doing your best to refrain from answering or to successfully lie to the other. At this question, you remained silent for a moment longer than you should have.
“Yes,” you replied simply, offering a nonchalant shrug in an attempt to throw Connor off.
“You’re lying,” he accused immediately.
“I would never,” you retorted. “I’m offended you would think so.”
Connor ceased his questioning to eye you suspiciously. His eyes trailed over your body for any indication of discomfort or nervousness. You hoped he wouldn’t find any.
“The brevity of your response and lack of natural movement suggest you’re lying,” Connor said as he studied you again. “You believe you’d be a better mentor than Lieutenant Anderson, don’t you?”
“In some aspects, yes,” you answered truthfully. After all, to lie properly was to occasionally tell the truth.
Connor nodded along with your response, noting the way you remained unaffected despite being caught in a lie. He would need to do something more to break you, something that would make you sweat.
Your gaze followed Connor as he started to pace the length of the room. Your attention was drawn to his LED as it flashed quickly between colors. Blue. Yellow. Red. Red? Yellow.
The occasional bright red made your brows furrow. Was he really that stumped? He couldn’t think of a single way to break you? You doubted it. Something else must have been on his mind, your thoughts racing at what could have him so conflicted.
“Connor,” you whispered hesitantly.
The sound of his name seemed to snap him back to attention. Connor immediately stopped pacing and fixed you with a steady gaze as if he had come to a decision. With careful steps, Connor rounded the table to stand beside you. He leaned against the table and looked down at you with his arms crossed confidently.
“You’re hard to break, aren’t you?” he murmured.
The crease between your brows deepened as your confusion grew. You were puzzled by Connor’s sudden proximity and the low tone of his voice.
“Well, I
I guess it’s part of the job,” you said softly.
Connor nodded and agreed simply, “Truth.”
Another beat of silence passed as Connor did nothing but watch you. His eyes flitted about your figure, though it seemed as though he wasn’t analyzing you this time around. It was like he was looking at you just to look at you.
“Do you find enjoyment in our little game? In successfully lying to me?” Connor inquired.
You were hesitant to answer, your confusion outweighing any thought. When you did speak, your voice cracked slightly when you answered, “Yes.”
“Do you find enjoyment in other ways from our game?” he continued.
“No.”
“Lie.”
You couldn’t help but stare at Connor. You wanted to tear your gaze away from his desperately, but there was something so appealing about the hardness of his typically gentle eyes.
When you didn’t answer, Connor raised his brows and leaned forward expectantly. The intensity of his gaze made you suddenly nervous, your heart racing as you moved to fidget with your hands.
“I need a truthful answer, Detective,” Connor stated firmly.
He knew the answer. He knew you were lying. He just wanted you to say it. There was no point in denying anything now.
“Yes.”
Connor hummed and finally pulled his gaze away from you, allowing you to sigh in relief. There was something in his eyes that made you
 inexplicably anxious.
“Can you elaborate?” Connor prodded after a moment.
“I can,” you replied quietly. “But I don’t want to.”
At your refusal, Connor’s attention snapped back to you, the crinkle in his brow suggesting his mild surprise.
“Why is that, Detective?” he urged. When he got no response, only your steady gaze locked with his, he continued. “Are you worried it may incriminate you?”
“No,” you replied calmly.
Admittedly, you were very proud of yourself for keeping such an unperturbed composure. Your face remained tranquil and your voice confident. But your external composure meant nothing, not when it was Connor interrogating you. He could detect your pounding heart and uneven breaths with ease. You bet he could even sense the claminess of your palms.
“Lie.”
You weren’t entirely sure why you even attempted to lie anymore. Connor was a walking polygraph, he could see through any of your lies no matter how believable they were.
But being as stubborn as you were, you refused to admit that Connor was right. Instead, you sucked in a slow breath and pressed your lips in a thin line, eyes locked on Connor the entire time. Your stubbornness made him frown, though you knew it was a quality he had always admired.
“Fine. If you won’t tell me yourself then I’ll just have to guess,” Connor shrugged with mock defeat. He pretended to think for a moment, lips pursed in a way that made your eyes dart to his mouth. “Is it because you find superiority in besting me?”
Connor started tame. Anyone would feel superior after besting an android, he was well aware of that. And you knew he was aware. What was he trying to get at?
“Yes, partially,” you said, cursing yourself for admitting that it was only part of the reason you found your mock interrogations so enjoyable.
Connor seemed unphased by your answer as if he already knew there was more to your enjoyment. He sat in quiet deliberation again, though he had already settled on his next question.
“Is it because you’re attracted to me?” Connor questioned innocently.
Connor was smart, you knew this. You knew this and still thought that maybe– just maybe— he wouldn’t be able to guess correctly.
You couldn’t stop yourself from glancing away from Connor, knowing that it only made you look more suspicious. You swallowed hard, keeping your eyes focused on the wall in front of you.
“Detective?” Connor pressed as he waited patiently for an answer.
You startled at the light touch of his hand on your chin as he slowly turned you back to him. He kept a gentle but firm grip on your chin, looking down at you questioningly. The feeling of his skin against yours didn’t help at all. It only worked to accelerate your heartbeat, which Connor immediately took note of.
“Your heart rate has increased by 32%, Detective,” Connor observed. “An increased and irregular heart rate is typically a sign of nervousness. Are you nervous?”
“You know the answer,” you mumbled.
“You’re right, I do,” he confessed easily. “But I want to hear it from you; are you nervous?”
“Yes.”
“Because I was correct in assuming you’re attracted to me?”
You inhaled slowly, working up the nerve to answer. But there was no point, you both knew your answer. He knew. You knew. It felt like everyone in the precinct– everyone in the world– knew.
“Yes
”
The corner of Connor’s lips quirked into a satisfied smirk having successfully broken his most stubborn participant. He slowly pulled his hand away from your chin, resting it flat against the tabletop. His arrogance sparked something inside you, compelling you to act unnaturally bold.
“Fine, you win,” you grunted, rising from your seat. “Congratulations.”
Without much thought, you reached for Connor’s tie and yanked him into you, smashing your lips against his. Your hand was tight around his tie, your nerves seeping into your grip. You pulled away sharply, only allowing him a quick kiss before your nerves could fully return. You released his tie and gently pushed his chest to put some distance between the two of you.
“There’s your prize,” you hissed, though you both knew there was nothing menacing behind your tone.
It was Connor’s turn to feel flustered, finally. His cheeks were coated with a faint blush, his eyes wide and utterly perplexed. His lips were still parted slightly like he was savoring the feeling of your lips against his. Unease boiled in your chest the longer Connor did nothing.
But the look in his eyes settled any feelings of insecurity. He looked entirely infatuated with you. And when he spoke again, that infatuation only made itself clearer.
“If that’s my prize, I’ll have to win more often.”

Another translation for you all!
*I am a journalist in Norway, so I have access to many Scandinavian and European journalism sites.
*Please be aware that my German is in need of much practice, so there may be a couple of errors or strange direct translations to English.
Alexander SkarsgĂ„rd: The most beautiful sex scene – without genitals
Tumblr media
The actor plays a robot in the series "Murderbot." A conversation about beauty, pee breaks, and his family clan.
He is a member of the famous SkarsgÄrd clan and a heartthrob. In his native Sweden he has been named Sexiest Man Alive five times. But in his film roles, he torpedoes this pretty-boy image, whether in the viking film The Northman, the body horror Infinity Pool, or now in the sci fi series Murderbot, where he plays an android who acts very stiff and is hidden under a helmet for a long time. The series is currently airing on Apple TV+, with new episodes every Friday. We spoke to the 48-year-old actor about it.
Interviewer: Murderbot is a scam. The android is initially bullied by humans and wants to kill them. But he only calls himself that because he thinks it is cool. And then he even develops a relationship with humans. Could some viewers be disappointed because they expect something different?
SkarsgÄrd: Probably. I fell for it too. When I got the script, I had not read Martha Wells' books yet. I just heard: sci fi, action, adventure, Murderbot, and thought yes, I get to play an ass kicker. But I was not disappointed. Quite the opposite. It is much more charming that Murderbot is not a typical action hero, but an android who loves soap operas more than anything but cannot get along with people. It is weird, but very endearing and unique. And it is much more interesting to build a sci fi universe around a character like that.
Interviewer: What is more exhausting, running almost naked through the jungle like in Tarzan, or wearing clunky armor like Murderbot?
SkarsgÄrd: Definitely the latter. I would wear a loincloth again anytime. Murderbot's body armor looks cool. And that helped me get into character, because I was supposed to play hard-on. But it was like a thick latex condom. It was very tight and very hot inside. It always took an hour to get in. And the first time I had to go to the bathroom to pee, we realized it was not that easy. We had to get creative and add a hidden zipper.
Interviewer: As an android, you have to act stiff. And you wear a helmet, so you are often invisible. Isn't that a waste of time for an actor?
SkarsgÄrd: Quite the opposite. That was precisely the challenge. When you cannot see the face, no facial expressions, no eyes, you have to think carefully about how to express it differently. Every little movement is all the more important. Sometimes it was enough to just tilt the head slightly. You can read a lot into that.
Interviewer: Whether it's Tarzan, The Northman, or Infinity Pool, you are repeatedly cast in extreme roles. What appeals to you about that?
SkarsgÄrd: Good question. I ask myself that a lot, too. Especially when it is five in the morning, lying in the mud, wrestling with other vikings. Sometimes you think, "What a stupid idea that was." But I think I am just attracted to complex characters. Or those where primitive or atavistic traits sometimes surface when you dig deep. Or when you do not want to dig deep and hide it, but then it comes up anyway. Maybe this is a bit of psychotherapy for me, too. It is a bit of a catharsis. I am a modern, civilized Northern European. But this way, you can let out a little of the wild animal that lurks somewhere inside us and live it out.
Interviewer: Are such quirky characters also a way to escape the pretty-boy image? There's not a single article about you that does not at some point mention the heartthrob, the Sexiest Man.
SkarsgÄrd: That image never interested me. Of course, there were offers like that. But I want to be creative and be challenged. And look forward to the characters I play. I remember, at the beginning of my career, no, even before I had a career and was trying to establish myself in the industry, I received a lot of offers like that. Like, Guy Number 5 in a bad romantic comedy or the jock in a bad teen movie. It was not about a character at all, they were just stereotypes. I was unemployed so of course I auditioned for everything but I was not hired. And I think there was a reason for that. Because I just did not find it interesting, and maybe people noticed my reluctance. So I barely worked for many years until Generation Kill came out in 2007. That was the first time I was excited to audition in the US and really wanted to be a part of it.
Interviewer: Whether you are a pretty boy or not, you often have to play nude scenes. That is also the case in Murderbot but then you do not have genitals.
SkarsgÄrd: I was very nervous about that scene. Murderbot feels uncomfortable around people. If he has to interact with them, he prefers to do it in a tank. But he does not have a problem with nudity. There are no puritan algorithms in his chip. Instead, a researcher comes in and feels shame about the nudity. But also because there is no gender. The only stupid thing, and it is really my own fault, was that I thought Murderbot was not allowed to have body hair. On the head, yes, to make him seem more human and user-friendly but not on the chest and arms. So I had my whole body waxed. And that was unbearably painful. And because I did it once, I had to keep doing it. And I was waxed again and again for months.
Interviewer: The Murderbot books are very popular with diverse people and in the LGBTQ community. Are you aware of that? Is Murderbot a kind of role model in that regard?
SkarsgĂ„rd: I don't know if an android can serve as a role model. But I was aware that he is a popular character among many people in the diverse and LGBTQ community. And that is understandable. It is a pretty unique character; that is rarely found in series, especially not in science fiction. Classic heroes are much more self-confident and assertive, and they throw themselves into adventures with great enthusiasm but we break down the idea of someone being socially awkward and preferring to be left alone. I find that very refreshing and it is nice that that appeals to people, too.
Interviewer: The research team is something like a hippie commune, which also integrates the robot. Is the series a strange hymn to family?
SkarsgÄrd: I think so. At first, Murderbot is treated by the humans as a machine, as a piece of equipment. And discriminated against, so much so that he wants to kill them. But then he comes to these space hippies, and they are completely different. Like a family that treats each other with love and respect and supports each other. And they invite him into this family as well. And the android opens up. And for the first time, feels something like love. Yes, you could see that as an ode to family.
Interviewer: That brings me to another family question. You come from a family of actors. Your father is an actor, and so are your brothers. Are you competitors? Are you constantly compared to each other?
SkarsgÄrd: No, fortunately not. For some reason, we are never considered for the same roles. Not even when we were first starting out. If you are considered for a role and you really want it, but you do not get it, you never want to hear about the project again. You want to put it behind you and move on. But if your brother got it, you would not be able to be truly happy for him, and you would be hearing about it forever. But we are fortunate to have very different careers and work on very different projects. And so I can also be incredibly happy for my brother's success.
Interviewer: How should we imagine that? Do the SkarsgÄrds sometimes sit together and watch each other's films and series?
SkarsgÄrd: No, that is what premieres are for. We go there, including to each other's premieres, to celebrate together. Those are the moments when we watch each other. But not at home. We are often together in Stockholm. But we prefer to talk there. We like to do that, including about work. Maybe you are working with someone your dad has filmed with before. We exchange ideas then. But it all stays within a healthy balance because believe it or not, there are also some family members who are not actors. So we talk about other things too.

ShortBox Comics Member Interview: Bennizone
Throughout the month of October, the Cartoonist Cooperative will be sharing interviews with members of the Co-op who have a new comic available at the ShortBox Comics Fair 2024!
NOTE: The Cartoonist Cooperative is not affiliated, associated, authorized, endorsed by, or in any way formally connected with ShortBox.
Today’s spotlight is @bennizone and their new comic for ShortBox, Stagnation Seed
Tumblr media
We’d love it if you could introduce yourself and tell us about your background in comics.
BENNIZONE: Sure!
I’m Benni (she/her), or “BENNIZONE”. I’m an independent comic-artist, making an effort to fill my life with as much art as possible. My work usually centers around lesbians and/or gender-nonconformity, in some shape or form. I work with a lot of mixed media; traditional art is my one true love!
As a kid I’d scribble my own little sequences in stapled booklets. They’d be lying around everywhere, in every drawer and cabinet. As I got older, I got into comic-zines which are homemade, stapled booklets! Exactly what I’d always been making! Who knew they had a whole community based around them. To this day, zines are my favorite medium.
Tell us more about your new comic?
B: Yes, Stagnation Seed! It’s the story of Candy and Violetta, two roommates(?) who try to fix themselves and each other
by pouring their emotions into the project that is The Android Girlfriend. And then having second thoughts! It’s been rummaging in my head for years
 It’s a love story, almost a tragedy
but the ending makes me happy!
It’s a narrative that reflects a lot of pent up emotions of mine
The feeling of not progressing fast enough, projecting your feelings onto others, trying to run from yourself while being convinced that you’re chasing the right thing
it’s tough. The comic is special to me for sure.
Tumblr media
What are some early experiences as a cartoonist that shaped you or your process?
B: Hmm, I was always just
trying to make connections to others, through art. I wanted people to feel how I felt. The internet wasn’t as big when I was a kid–I didn’t have any friends who shared my passion for comics; I thought I was alone in being absolutely obsessed with them. I think I’m still just trying to reach out, anytime I draw. An endless game of Marco Polo.
What were some challenges you faced with this comic and how did you overcome them?
B: The ending changed a few times. I wasn’t sure how open-ended it should be
it was important to me that there were loose ends to be explored by the reader after the story concludes, since it deals with themes in my own life that I haven’t figured out a solution for. I didn’t want to answer a question I didn’t know the answer to, but I also wanted to deliver a message. In the end, I went with something that felt true to me.
In the same vein, the story jumps back and forth in time, and there’s some sequences that aren’t logical. I wasn’t sure just how experimental I could go, without losing grip on reality; it was a constant dance.
Read the rest of the interview HERE! And dont forget to check out the Shortbox Comics Fair to support these lovely creators!!

What androids think of their own technology? Of what they're made of and how?
Like, some humans got a degree of awareness of their own evolution as species. But androids? Would they look at themselves and be legit impressed on how designers managed to come with something like 'em? After all... some shit is def mimicking how the human body works as a reference, but we're still in "robot" territory - hardware not really shaped by yrs and yrs of natural evolution but shaped by yrs and yrs of human study.
Deviant androids often think about how humans are wrong in saying they're just machines, pissed at how they're underestimated, they're now discovering they're more than just merchandise. But would they put this capability (deviancy, emotions) on the humans who built 'em accs?
Non-deviant androids are always about the propaganda on how they can do X, Y and Z functions at the same time, but that's it... It's to convince humans to buy 'em. Ain't a "wow, I can speak 300 languages and execute trillion of instructions per sec". Would androids indeed start thinking they're far more advanced and intelligent than humans?
That's why I like that Chloe interview question... But like Connor in Meet Kamski they're just saying what people wanna hear, or at least what they are think people wanna hear. So ofc I wanna solve my case, ofc humans are the one that came with the ideas who made what and who I am.

This is a cute interview I missed with Alexander SkarsgÄrd talking to Yahoo! Entertainment about Murderbot and a fabulous lightning round Q&A at the end.
Alexander SkarsgÄrd wants to be left alone to watch TV, just like Murderbot
We may not have killing cyborg security units (yet), but we have ChatGPT. The "Murderbot" star braved an AI-generated portion of this interview.
Taryn Ryder; Fri, May 16, 2025 at 7:00 AM EDT
excerpts:
Murderbot is a genderless cyborg in the books, with no physical human-looking attributes of note. So, how on earth did Alexander SkarsgÄrd fit the bill to play the titular character?
The show’s creators, brothers Chris and Paul Weitz, knew it would be an impossible task to cast someone who fit “everybody’s version of what they were thinking of.” They even considered a female lead. But when SkarsgĂ„rd showed interest, they say, the casting choice was a no-brainer.
“Alexander’s a deeply eccentric person. He’s somebody who has this exterior that can be intimidating. He was in the Swedish special forces. He appears from characters he’s played like he could really kill somebody,” Paul tells Yahoo.
The Weitzes know fans of the books have “headcanon,” which, in fandom terms, refers to how people envision what a character is going to look or feel like. They say fans won’t be disappointed by SkarsgĂ„rd. (Early reviews agree.)
“He has a really good sense of humor and he’s an oddball. Those characteristics were characteristics which one felt would suit Murderbot,” Paul adds. “We just wanted it to be an actor who was really specific.”
SkarsgÄrd is happy to show off his eccentric side in the series.
“It’s such a weird, unique character that I definitely hadn’t played before, and I was also excited about doing something slightly more comedic compared to The Northman or Infinity Pool, other, slightly darker projects that I’ve done recently,” he tells Yahoo. “I was beyond excited when I came across this weird sci-fi action plot, but centered around a socially awkward android who loves soap operas.”
SkarsgĂ„rd says he personally relates to Murderbot’s “procrastination.”
“I thought that was quite interesting how it calls itself Murderbot and it’s going to go on these epic adventures. And that’s kind of what you expect to see when you’re watching a sci-fi show — that it’s actually heroic and confident and goes out there and kicks ass. But instead ... Murderbot procrastinates and gets stuck just watching its favorite show, Sanctuary Moon,” he laughs. “I find it quite relatable that, you know, you’ve got these grand plans, but they can wait till tomorrow. You just got to watch a few more episodes of something.”
Since sci-fi always touches on real-world themes and the closest thing we have to a SecUnit is ChatGPT, I signed up for the AI chatbot to enlist its help for a lightning round of Murderbot and SkarsgÄrd-themed questions. The 48-year-old Swedish star was excited to see how it did.
Tumblr media
I’m going to fire them off. Are you ready?
Yeah.
Would you rather binge-watch a show or explore a new city?
Explore a new city.
Twenty-four-hour robot bodyguard or 24-hour robot personal chef?
Personal chef.
Be a brilliant villain or forgettable hero?
Forgettable hero. Forgettable hero is really nice. I like that.
Acting in a heavy costume or acting with heavy CGI?
I’m quite lazy. I like practical stuff that’s not CGI, but I’m also lazy. The thought of doing something in pajamas in front of a green screen? I’ll go for that one.
SkarsgÄrd family game night. Is it board games or chaos?
I would say chaotic board games.
What would be a favorite recharge, sleeping in or an outdoor activity?
Outdoor activity.
Watch a bad movie with friends or a masterpiece alone?
Bad movie with friends.
Robots taking over or aliens invading?
Aliens invading.
Be famous in a tiny galaxy or totally anonymous on Earth?
I’d like to be famous in a tiny galaxy. I like that idea.
See, these weren’t too bad. I mean, I took out the really weird and creepy ones, so my job still needs to be here, but...
Give me one creepy [question].
OK, you asked. Would you rather keep taking your shirt off or only wear clothes in films?
Keep taking my shirt off.

Omg everything about android!Noah is so interesting. Idk how you come up with those things but I'm living for it 😭
I thought that he would be able to "blush", like I thought that that would be a part of his system to make him seem more like a real person and that got me thinking, do others know that he's an android? Like the fans of the band. And how would he interact with fans?
I'm so sorry, I don't want to be annoying but I have so many questions
how do i come up with things? uhhhh... daydreams... other medias... coming up w stuff on the spot ....
i totally see your perspective on the blush thing! however i think there's some limitations, blushing being one of them. technically, androids have blood, but their blood is blue (thirium)! if he were to somehow blush i imagine it would not be red/pink but blue. i may have to think more on it!
so, yes! fans are VERY AWARE that 8AD 0MENS is an android band. fan interaction is likely very limited, since truly, androids (even celebrity ones) are sorta intended to do their job and go. sometimes they do interviews!
post-sentience, noah likely tries to engage with fans more. he's more passionate about the music, the performance, the people who enjoy his art. he'll have little chats (where he is uncharacteristically excited), take photos.
he also has his own social media, he asked you if he could. he spends most of the time sharing photos and videos of him in the studio, maybe a few candids of you. no smartphone needed, by the way! his eyes are pretty cool. you know how smart glasses work? his eyes work the same way. he can take photos and videos with them and access the internet as he pleases.
the more he adjusts to sentience, the more he wants to express himself. unfortunately, he still has some limitations because sentience is seen as "dangerous". the only reason he gets away with some things is because M.I.N.D knows his purpose is to be your partner. if they caught a whiff of his sentience, M.I.N.D would literally show up to your house and shoot him down (/srs)
he does love his fans though. so very much. he expresses his gratitude for them often ^w^
finally, ANON. A N O N . (holds u like this)
Tumblr media
you are NEVER annoying, i love your questions! i LOVE talking about my work, so please don't worry!
( @astronoids — SORRY I FORGOT TO START TAGGING U IN ANDROID AU STUFF )

Read on AO3 here:
Summary: Gavin and Nines have been dating for some time now, but unfortunate circumstances early in their relationship meant that they weren't able to 'push the limits' of their intimate life quite as much as they would have liked. This is about to change.
Part 3 in the 'More Than' Series - Taking place between Chapter 27 and Epilogue of More Than Our Parts - can also be read as a standalone fic.
Word Count: 5.3K
Nines had arrived at the apartment later than anticipated. The interviewers had been running behind in seeing the other applicants, meaning his meeting had been pushed back significantly.
This seemed to have annoyed Gavin when he informed him, although he didn't labour the point too much. He knew this was important to him and would be willing to exercise what tenuous stores of patience he possessed in delaying their movie night.
With this in mind, it struck Nines as odd that he was not there to greet him when he entered. Indeed, the living room was suspiciously vacant, save for the vocal greetings of a large ensemble of cats. They surrounded him almost immediately, yowling and rubbing at his legs in varying degrees of enthusiasm. Richie was particularly forceful, clambering over his sisters and mother in order to reach him first.
The android pocketed his key and reached down to pet the boisterous male in hopes it may placate him. It did not. Richie soon lost interest in the affection and scurried off to the far corner of the room. Scaling the nearby cat tree, he used the additional vantage to propel himself towards the kitchen door. He somehow ended up perched on the top of the panel, precariously balanced on a set of wobbling paws.
Well accustomed to the cat's antics, Nines rolled his eyes affectionately, followed by an amused snort as he inevitably lost balance—falling back to the floor in a squirming ball of fur and limbs. He continued to pet the remaining cats as he completed a perimeter scan of the apartment, noting traces of life coming from the bedroom.
“Gavin?”
There was no response, even after Nines made several more attempts to gain his attention. While his vitals appeared to be within normal parameters, his silence was growing disconcerting. He could sense that his partner was standing motionless, failing to so much as flinch in response to his voice.
This anxiety, mingled with curiosity, culminated in him offering each of the cats a final cursory stroke before standing to his feet. He advanced towards the bedroom, determined to see what was transpiring.
The door swung open before he could touch it, revealing a set of impish green eyes. Before Nines could question what was happening, firm lips met his, accompanied by coarse stubble brushing against his chin. The mouth worked against him in fevered urgency as a hand pulled the nape of his neck, anchoring him closer.
When Gavin eventually pulled away, he did so with a coy smirk plastered on his face. “Surprise.”
It wasn't a surprise, obviously. He knew Nines could see the vitals and would have known where he was. What did come as a surprise, however, was as his partner slipped away—filling the full scope of his vision—there was decidedly more of him on display than the android had prepared for.
His more rational mind promptly stalled as the man stared back at him, his wicked grin growing exponentially in the wake of his stunned reaction. “So, how did it go?”
“It
it went well, I believe that
” The android trailed off as the starched material of his dress shirt suddenly felt unbearably stifling. He pulled at the collar, trying to compose himself enough to continue. “Why are you naked?”
“I'm just so proud of you,” Gavin replied, simpering with faux innocence. He advanced back towards him slowly, labouring on every step before his hands came to rest on his shoulders, rubbing them in languid paths. “Putting yourself out there, going for something you're passionate about. I think you deserve a reward.”
It wasn't exactly a challenge to understand what Gavin meant by this. Nonetheless, he sealed the promise with another firm, impassioned kiss before sinking to his knees as though compelled to do so by some unseen weight.
It was entirely mesmerising, watching as the man wrestled with his zipper and belt, moving with carnal desperation that seemed akin to a starving animal. His pants slid down, and fumbling fingers traced across him in line with the wet seal of a mouth. It charted the outline of his length, teasing him to hardness through his boxers.
The android sought leverage on the doorway, which he had barely crossed before all of this began to unfold. His grip tightened exponentially as the cotton barrier was removed, and cool air struck his arousal.
Gavin stared at him, chuckling lowly. In a shameless display of appreciation, he licked his lips before darting forward and running a stripe across the swollen length. He repeated the movement several times, punctuated by deep, guttural moans. He then captured the tip, suckling firmly as his tongue flitted across the slit.
Nines shuddered, body trembling, and the man smirked around his length before engulfing it fully into the velvety heat of his mouth. He took it greedily, with every movement claiming more, until it struck the back of his throat. Glossed wood began to crack beneath the android's grip, yielding to the pressure.
The sounds his partner was making were filthy. Long groans and rasp whines, underscored by subtle gags. Nines recognised that this did not form part of any real aversion, Gavin having proven numerous times that he was more than adept at pleasuring him this way. He was doing it on purpose, ensuring each sinful action came with some form of verbal accompaniment.
Saliva dribbled from the corners of his mouth as he continued to work his cock. His eyes were glassy, pricked with tears, the vacuous depths reflecting nothing but lust and desperation.
He looked incredible like this. So shamelessly wanton and needy. An excited warmth pooled in Nines' stomach, radiating through his body. His HUD bombarded him with warnings, prompting him to alleviate some of the heat with a series of heavy pants.
His partner appeared hellbent on countering the efforts. Through the rising tide of pleasure, the android noted a telling movement between his legs. Groans of appreciation deepened, sending vibrations through his arousal.
Gavin was touching himself—with the same frantic abandon that he was using to pleasure Nines.
He seemed to be nothing short of ecstatic at the arrangement, his tongue and lips moving in harmony with each rampant tug. It was too much, and the android was left powerless to resist his overwhelming desire for more. His hands fisted the back of his hair before thrusting forward in a series of harsh, focused jerks.
His climax was fast approaching, and he was able to catch himself just before all logical thought deserted him. He extended a hurried warning to the man nestled between his thighs. “Gavin, I’m very close—”
The pace quickened, bringing him to the peak of his pleasure before it spilt into his partner's mouth. The man welcomed it eagerly, lapping against the material, pulling back just enough that Nines could see the traces pooled on the back of his tongue.
He shuddered in appreciation, unable to look away. This silent admiration proved enough to tip Gavin over the edge as he flung his head back with a long, guttural cry.
Shuddering breaths fell in line with the turbulent heaves of his chest as his olive skin was left coated with the glistened sheen of sweat and release. The android indulged in every detail, committing them to memory with meticulous focus.
///
Gavin could only imagine what Nines was thinking right now. His body quivered in lingering twitches as rogue sparks of crimson flickered against his blue-tinged skin. It never grew tiring, seeing him like this. The epitome of measured poise reduced to a beautiful, flustered mess.
“That was incredible.”
The breathless cadence with which the android said this inspired a swell of pride within him. Wiping any lingering traces of release from his chin, he popped the fingers into his mouth, grinning in satisfaction. “No need to stop there.”
While the two had enjoyed copious intimacy since their relationship began, unfortunate circumstances required them to take it easy in the formative weeks. This was something that Gavin desperately wanted to change. He understood what his partner was capable of, having been permitted fleeting glimpses—and he’d had enough of hanging on previews. He wanted it all. Untamed and unrestrained.
“You don't have a refractory period, right? You could keep going
doing whatever you wanted with me, for as long as you wanted it.”
It was the beginning of a challenge. One that Nines, much to his delight, appeared willing to entertain. He hummed low in affirmation, the rich resonance of his voice darkening in line with his gaze. “That’s right.”
Gavin struggled to uphold his facade of confidence, but the mask was rapidly slipping. His body tremored as his mouth grew dry in debauched anticipation.
“Then go ahead. What the hell are you waiting for?”
There was little time devoted to deliberation before Nines accepted the invitation. Strong hands reached under his arms as his steely eyes trained on him with unwavering focus. He hoisted Gavin to his feet, practically snarling as he did so before forcibly bringing their bodies together. Nails dug into his hips, creating deep-set grooves as the android began to move in teasing circles.
Had the man not been privy to the fact his partner already found release, there would have been no indication of this. He was unmistakably hard as he rubbed against him, making no secret of just how ready he was to continue.
The enticing strokes of friction were cut criminally short, as after just a few brushes, he had pulled away. Gavin would have likely protested this had it not been for the subsequent shove that forced him to tumble onto the bed.
He lay there, splayed out against the sheets, as his head reeled from the momentum. Nines slipped between his legs, wrenching them apart with a firm shove of his knees. Forceful hands claimed his thighs before teeth found their way to the tender flesh, sinking in with a claiming bite. Gavin hissed in a dizzying mixture of pleasure and pain, provoking the jaw to tighten until the skin was almost breached.
As the seal was relinquished, a tender kiss was placed against the resultant mark. The process was repeated several times until the inside of his legs were liberally patterned with reddened indents.
Then the mouth dipped inwards, with the anticipation being that it would find his arousal—seeking to tease it back to life. To his surprise, the movements trailed lower, and before he could process what was happening, a wet heat had found his entrance.
Jesus fucking Christ.
Nines had never done this before, but as was the case with seemingly everything they attempted, the action appeared to come naturally. He responded with precision to the subconscious motions of his body, adjusting his approach to ensure his partner melded pliantly to the touch.
The pressure on his entrance increased as a finger also breached his warmth, working alongside the tongue. Gavin keened in delight, writhing against the sheets as he arched himself closer.
Once he was sufficiently prepped, the android pulled away. Surveying him with a look that told the man, in no uncertain terms, that he intended to take advantage of every privilege granted to his current position.
“I'm going to fuck you.” The words were sharp and opposing, almost like a threat. “Precisely as I see fit, and I do not want to hear anything in return. No complaints, no protests. Do I make myself clear?”
Nines intended to use him, and he wanted nothing more than to allow it to happen. To submit himself fully to his control, falling apart on his cock until he was a pleading, babbling mess—unable to even articulate any words, let alone ones of protests.
He nodded in compliance, and Nines positioned himself. Rubbing against his willing heat, erection straining the muscle. Then he retracted, and Gavin whined at the sudden absence of pressure. Evidently, this constituted a complaint, as he was handled with callous abandon as their positions were flipped.
He found himself on top of Nines, straddling his thighs, as his partner lay flush against the covers. Despite this compromised position, he made it clear that he still possessed command over the situation. Moving against him, he smiled darkly as Gavin quivered—leaning back to shamelessly rut against his arousal.
“I want you to ride me”, he commanded, emphasised by a particularly hard, targeted jerk, “and I want to see you touch yourself as you do it.”
Gavin failed to suppress a scoff at the suggestion. He glanced down at the limp softness between his legs, still profoundly spent from the demands of his recent release. “I never said that I didn’t have a refractory period.”
He watched as his partner's lips pulled into a disapproving scowl before a firm hand grabbed his neck, claiming it in a bruising vice.
“What did I say about complaints?”
The man couldn't answer the question; the words were sealed in his throat, unable to escape. Rogue splutters passed from his lips as his eyes blew wide in surprise.
“You said you were prepared to do what I wanted you to. This is what I want.” The hold tightened with resolve, robbing whatever stores of oxygen lingered in his lungs. “Surely you are capable of following a simple instruction?”
Amidst a growing delirium, he was able to offer a weak nod of confirmation, followed by a wheezing sound that tenuously resembled a “Yes.”
“Yes, what? Nines pressed, a second hand enclosing his larynx, ensuring no wayward breaths were able to breach the seal. “Who is it that you are answering to?”
He allowed Gavin some time to deliberate on his response as his pulse quickened beneath the crushing hold of his fingers. He was consumed by the euphoric swim of his oxygen-starved mind, as well as the perverse thrill of knowing that Nines could keep him like this for hours —relinquishing and reapplying pressure in just the right amounts to ensure he never lost consciousness.
“Nines.”
The trembling voice was undercut by a harsh slap across the face. It was the wrong response, and Gavin knew it, but he had allowed his masochistic urges to get the better of him. Desiring the punishment that resulted from insubordination, evident in the renewed arousal that pulsed between his legs.
“Try again”, Nines demanded, grasping the burning flesh of his cheek and hooking a thumb under his jaw, forming a pincer grip. They both knew what he wanted to hear, a title they had both agreed upon for their current situation.
Still reeling from the impact, skin pricked with a lingering sting, Gavin shuddered in excitement before choking out another weak response. “Sir.”
“Much better.”
Without warning, his hips jerked upwards. Harsh and forceful until he was breaching the man's heat. A needy whimper was pulled from his lips as he waited in anticipation for Nines to push deeper, to claim his body in its entirety.
When this didn't happen, he was left confused, on the brink of pleading, as any thrusts he was permitted came shallow and restrained.
“Do you want more?” Nines asked, making no secret of how much he enjoyed seeing Gavin squirm, revelling in the desperation that permeated his every action.
“Please.” His voice was hoarse and strained. Burdened by the weight of lust, as well as the lingering ache of his partner's bruising touch. “I need it, need you.”
There was another sharp, shallow thrust, and Gavin was sent reeling. He tried to roll back against it, seeking completion in the delicious fullness that it promised, but Nines ensured that his fulfilment was held tantalisingly out of reach.
“Remember what I said,” he prompted, fingers digging into his hips in a possessive show of force. “When I let go, you are going to fuck yourself. As hard and as fast as you can endure. Prove how badly you want this. If I am satisfied by your performance, I may seek to reward you.”
With the hold on his hips relinquished Gavin obliged the demand with immediate effect. He lifted himself from his body before pressing down forcefully, taking his partner completely with a strangled cry. Nines watched on as he bottomed out, a low groan escaping his lips. He bathed in the glow of the android's approval, rolling against his length in long, indulgent circles.
Then he leant back, one of his hands grabbing the sheets for additional leverage, as he established a steady pace of movements. With his available hand, he found his arousal, which twitched with renewed interest in response to their current activity. Stroking it back to hardness, he bucked his hips forward—moaning loudly amidst the flagrant exhibitionism.
He was eager to please the watchful audience lying beneath him, chasing the high of his praise. His efforts were rewarded as hands came up to trail appreciatively across his chest, feeling out the disordered patterns of his increasingly erratic breathing.
“Look at you. So perfect for me. I wish you could see yourself this way, the way I see you.”
The words wrapped around him like a caress, compelling him to move with increased vitality. As he did so, he smirked coyly, voicing his interest in the lewd proposition. “Maybe you can show me sometime. Give me the play-by-play.”
He pressed back with targeted force until the hardness inside him was brushing against a familiar bundle of nerves. His vision turned white, and he moved sightlessly through the muddled haze of ecstasy. Forgoing any consideration for the world around him, lost entirely to the sensation.
Rubbing the spot again, his body was finally forced to halt. The expanse of white filled with stars as a wave of dizziness overcame him. Forgoing movement, he focused instead on pleasuring himself, chasing the height of his bliss for the second time that day.
Fuck yes—
Then, his hand was firmly smacked away as Nines put an abrupt end to the gratification. “That's enough.”
Gavin was left to wait, panting and whining as his hand was pinned forcefully to the mattress. He would have lost his balance had it not been for the resistant hold keeping him upright. The android studied him, eyes blown and unfocused, as a wayward crack of sentiment threatened to breach his imposing veneer.
Then he leant forward, brushing his lips tenderly against his neck, seeking out the beat of his pulse with featherlight kisses. “If you need me to slow down at any point, or if you need me to stop, just say.”
“Not fucking happening,” Gavin hissed resolutely, spurring the android forward with a defiant buck of his hips.
Nines moved impossibly fast and hard, leaving him powerless to do anything but yield obediently to the force. His body slumped forward, pressed to the searing warmth of his partner's chest. He could hear the whir of exertion that roared from his inner components as firm arms pulled him close, anchoring him in place.
He was lost in a dream-like daze as though the sensations he was experiencing were no longer his own. A euphoria so far removed from his established reality, it was as though he had lost all possession of his body. Having become an extension of his partner, another part of him.
His arousal was pressed between them, twitching persistently in response to the rampant friction. He was able to make enough sense of the situation to hook a hand between them, capturing it in a tightened fist and pumping vigorously.
“Shit—Fuck—”
His words came in disjointed fragments as he was unable to lend them any greater coherence. Nines appeared to hang on his every garbled inflexion, burrowing his head into the crook of his shoulder, listening closely.
Then, the weight of his palm returned to his neck, halting any noise. The pressure was accompanied by entwining fingers that locked around his windpipe.
“Who do you belong to?” His question pushed forth an energised growl from the back of his throat, crackling with wayward sparks—and damn, how Gavin had grown to love that sound.
It was something so unique to Nines, ensuring there was no doubt in his blissed-out mind as to who was doing this to him. The hand clasped around his neck, the cock spearing into his heat. It was him, all of it, and he never wanted anything different.
The android had him forever, of which he was acutely aware, but this didn't change the fact that he wished to hear it from him. To force the wanton words of devotion from his quivering lips:
“Y-You,” he managed to stammer, prompting the grip around his throat to loosen. “I belong to you, I'm yours.”
His partner hummed in satisfaction, rumbling against the tender bruise he was suckling into his shoulder. “You're being so good for me. So compliant. I think it's time I reward you properly.”
He reached between them, forcing Gavin's hand away from his arousal. Except this time, he extended the courtesy of replacing it with his own.
Nines stroked in time with the measured bucks of his hips, decidedly slower than the pace he had previously established. Skilled levels of force and pressure were applied to the sensitive nerves, reducing him to a whimpering mess in a matter of seconds.
“How do you want me to fuck you?”
Gavin could feel his mind race with a myriad of possibilities, each more depraved than the last. Eventually, he settled on an established favourite.
“Behind. Fuck me from behind—please—”
///
Nines performed another seamless reversal of their positions. He flipped Gavin onto his back, leaving him to blink up at him with bleary eyes. The intensity of his longing had culminated in a potent haze of lust, and the android acknowledged how easily he could become lost in it should he lose focus.
“Turn around.”
His partner did so obediently, supporting himself on hands and knees, presenting his body in a way that proved impossible to resist. Nines ran his hands appreciatively across the expanse of his back, savouring every scar and contour.
As much as he enjoyed their love-making, there was a lot to be said for these moments of reverence. They served as silent affirmations that the man was adored by him and that any aggression he showed formed part of a licentious guise—something for their mutual enjoyment.
His hands trailed lower, following the curve of his back before finding the tender swell nestled above his thighs. He kneaded into it, teasing his opening and relishing in the desperate whines the motion elicited.
“Do you want me back inside you?”
“Fuck yes. Now, Nines. Stop teasing.”
The exasperated response was met with a harsh strike across his body, echoed by the reddened print left in its wake.
“You don't get to issue commands,” the android warned, prising his entrance with another wayward trail of his thumb. “I haven't finished with you yet, but I'll take what I want as I see fit. If you are unable to stay quiet, there will be consequences.”
“Okay, okay— shit .” Gavin hissed through clenched teeth, flinching instinctively as he nestled deeper into the sheets. The arch of his back provided Nines additional leverage, a gesture he suspected was meant to be subtle.
The android tutted at the expletive as his fingers danced teasingly against the pulsing heat of his skin. He traced the flushed blotches, prideful in the knowledge that he had been the one to cause them. Then he brought down his palm, striking again with heightened force.
“That is not being quiet.”
His partner was pressed further into the bed, propelled by the force of the slap. A weakened voice broke through, muffled against the bunched-up sheets. “I’m sorry.”
He wasn't.
It was evident how much he wanted this, doing everything he could to seek out further discipline. Nines willfully delivered, abusing his flesh in repeated strikes until his partner was howling in delight.
He stopped only when he was struck by a sudden wave of inspiration. “Wait here.”
Fetching the belt which had been left discarded with his pants, he swiftly returned to the bed, using it to play with the man in place of his hands. He teased a stripe across his skin, allowing him a moment to adjust to the weight and feel of the leather—as well as grant him the opportunity to voice any objections, should he have them.
Needless to say, he didn't, with the resulting reception being a series of enthused whimpers and nods.
Nines worked his skin in weighty strikes until the flesh was left raw, streaked with long crimson welts. All the while, Gavin was crying out, howls of pain intermingled with heady trills of satisfaction. Once he deemed the ‘punishment’ to be sufficient, the android abandoned the belt, gripping onto his partner's hips as he lined up against his opening.
He re-entered him in a fluid motion, refusing to stop until his length was engulfed fully by his heat. Hooking one of his arms beneath his stomach, he pulled his lax body towards him, holding it flush against his chest.
“Keep yourself upright.” He looked over his shoulder, noting how the commanding resonance inspired a twitch in the man's arousal. “I want you to see how good you can make yourself feel. How long you can hold out until you come.”
“ What, again ?” Gavin scoffed incredulously as a chuckle rumbled in the back of his throat. “I hate to burst your bubble, Nines, but that's not gonna happen. I'm not a fucking teenager.”
The android was left profoundly unsatisfied by the response. He made this disapproval clear with a sharp lunge forward, hard and forceful against the thoroughly wrecked skin. “You can, and you will come for me. I'm not going to stop until you do.”
Gavin shuddered, the motion striking a delicious resonance throughout his body. He felt so warm, so tight, as his muscles contracted around him. Nines could feel his composure slipping fast as a result of the amplified sensation.
He thrust into him again, harder. His partner emitted a tense whine before slumping forward, halted only by the steadying hand that riveted him in place.
“Do you understand me?”
Gavin offered a nod of agreement, ragged breaths hitching desperately as he grappled with his words. “Yes, just— please, Nines. Fuck me.”
He wasted no time in making full use of his body, chasing the peak of their shared ecstasy. As soon as his anchoring arm was removed, his partner lost support completely, flopping laxly against the bed.
Nines tutted in disapproval, though it was entirely for show. A surge of excitement coursed through him as Gavin demonstrated with no uncertainty that his promise of belonging to him wasn't exaggerated. In the vulnerability of his submission, he surrendered himself entirely, devoid of any resistance.
“Get back up,” Nines ordered, grabbing a fistful of tousled brown hair and hoisting it back. “We're not done yet.”
Gavin was unable to form words, expunging a series of strange, garbled fragments in response. With his hand still fisted into his hair, Nines re-established a pace of unruly thrusts. Pulling fiercely as he did, wrenching the man's head back as far as it would physically go.
A shift of movement between Gavin's thighs informed him that he was doing as he’d been told. Stroking himself and making delicious, sinful noises as he did. Through the cacophony of broken sounds, Nines could hear his name spoken with fervent desperation.
He loved how it sounded on his tongue, coiling and dancing against the muscle, labouring every fractured syllable. Nothing could ever compare to the feeling it inspired in him. Nothing even came close.
“Nines —shit, that's it—don't stop—”
He held back long enough to allow Gavin to finish before permitting his own release. An electrical charge pulsed through his mind, igniting every synapse, as his visions gave way to fevered static. Through the daze, he caught a glimpse of his arms—the skin retracting in disordered patches, creating shifting patterns of white.
He rode the waning crest of euphoria, coaxing a few more shallow thrusts. Gavin slumped against him, head lulling onto his shoulder, rendered catatonic by his overstimulation. As the android pulled away, the release came with him, spilling in thick ribbons down his partner's trembling thighs.
///
It was the best sex they'd ever had, a feat they seemed to achieve every single time they had it.  Gavin lay back on the sodden sheets, too spent to concern himself with the mess. Focusing his efforts on steadying the disordered pace of his breathing.
“I think I saw God.”
The android hummed in amusement, stroking away the loose strands of hair plastered to his forehead. “What did he have to say, anything interesting?
“Only that he saw what I did and that I was in deep shit for it.”
The quip was met with a laugh—rich and throaty, laden with warmth. Powerful arms encircled his body, pulling him into a tight embrace. “I can only apologise for any role I may have played in that.”
“Nah, don't, it was worth it.”
They lay there for a while, bathing in their shared afterglow, as Nines threaded dampened locks through his fingers, planting gentle kisses against the crook of his neck. The tranquil state was only disturbed when a steady beat of yellow began to pulse from his forehead, prompting him to frown.
“Apologies, I am receiving a call,” he mumbled, blanketing the insistent light with one of his palms.
“
Are you not gonna answer it?”
“It can wait. You are more important right now.” The tender kisses spread, charting the remaining course of his neck before moving downwards, following the firm contours of his chest.
Nines appeared intent on exploring every inch of him, with no care or consideration for just how filthy he was right now. Perhaps he was enjoying it. Tasting the traces of release that still clung to his skin, lapping trails through the salty residue, curling his tongue sinfully—
He felt his body ache in protest, putting an abrupt end to the salacious train of thought. “You're pushing it, Nines. I do not have a round three in me.”
“Perhaps you might change your mind if I permit you a short rest.”
“Seriously, loverboy. Get the fuck off me.” He pushed back against the android but with no real weight behind the movement. “Have you even checked who it is? What if it's the shelter? They might be calling to say you got the job.”
Nines’ lips formed a tight pucker that was dangerously close to a pout. “Very well
but after I take this call, I would like it if we could shower together. I'm not done indulging in your body just yet.”
This horny motherfucker is going to kill me.
God, I'm so in love with him.
The pulsing on his temple ceased as the android accepted the call. “Nines Reed speaking.”
There was a period of weighty silence, to which Gavin watched on expectantly. Studying every minute shift in his partner's expression as he nodded along in composed understanding.
“
Right
I
see
thank you for the opportunity.”
The call concluded, and the man watched as Nines' sight trailed to the side, seemingly caught in a state of morose contemplation. His lips pulled into a tight frown before he placed his hand on his partner's shoulder in a show of commiseration. “You didn't get it?”
Then the android's expression promptly shifted as he met his sight, eyes alight with mischievous intent. “No, I did. I just presumed your reaction may be more entertaining if I made it seem like I didn't.”
Any show of tenderness deserted him as Gavin shoved him again, decidedly harder. “You absolute prick.”
“I'm your prick,” Nines said smoothly before taking one of his hands in a gentle clasp, placing the knuckles to his lips. “As much yours as you are mine.”

A obsessed Elijah Kamski
Tumblr media
°His obsession would go further than just stalking. To be more precise, he doesn't even see it as such. He's practically the creator of a new species, a race. The androids. So it's only fair to take what's rightfully his, isn't it?
°Ever since he saw her at a press conference, the young reporter sitting across from him and asking him predetermined questions, he knew he wanted her. The people he had previously disliked, imperfect, not pretty and powerful enough all seemed to be gone in one fell stroke. She was different. She seemed to have been created by him. She seemed to be completely perfect. Ever since that meeting, he had known this in his inner self, where he had already cast off all his moral preconceptions.
°He himself was more God than anything else. ,,I'm glad to see you again," he had said to her as he saw her give him a shy smile. Courtesy with a mix of charm. He knew she had feelings for him, he just knew it. And when he went home, ignoring Chloe for the first time, almost considering her less than perfect, he knew he needed a replacement.
°His Chloe, who had previously been the image of everything he needed, was now nothing more than an android. She wasn't the model he wanted. ,,Get me any information about this woman and tell her I want to invite her for a private interview," he had told the machine, pointing to the name of the newspaper that had written the article.
°What was once a request had now become an order, his order. An order that brought him to his desk and the new project began. The new design of his latest creation, for what god could simply take someone immediately. A human had to be conquered. ,,Feelings and consciousness," he murmured, looking at the exoskeleton of the machine, knowing it wasn't flesh and blood. Knew that it was not her and yet he would have her. If not willingly then he would lie to himself until he believed it was really her.
°And he knew he had her when she stood in front of his door. The white blouse underneath her bra was a mix of professional and yet provocative for him. Her lips were a light shade of pink and her perfume was sweet. ,,Perfection I see...I'm glad you could come," he said, ushering her in, closing the door behind her and knowing she was his when the lock clicked.
°His hand settled on her shoulder, squeezing her gently as he led her into the living room. ,,A glass of wine?" he asked, seeing her hesitant nod and knowing that inside she was standing between her job and him. But when he sat down opposite her, his eyes on her with pleasure as she sipped her wine and her eyes met his, watching her reaction, it was more knowledge he had than in years of research.
°She began to ask him questions, he answered them just waiting to strike. She snatched the words from him and began to question him about the cameras she had never seen. She didn't realize how his wine glass always stayed the same, she drank more out of nervousness of her humanity. To get rid of this feeling and play into his hands. ,,Excuse me... Mr. Kamski, may I just-" she began, holding a hand over her mouth.
°,,Sedatives and emotions don't mix well, do they?" he asked, reaching for his screen and typing in her reaction, watching as she rose from her chair, struggling to keep her balance. But her attempt was miserably thwarted when her legs lost feeling. She fell to the ground with a surprised sound. He walked to her, she watched his new model, his perfection. ,,Tell me, what do you feel, dear?" he asked, kneeling in front of her, his cool hand on her jaw. Forced her to look at him. Saw her fear, her confusion. What would her other emotions look like then?
°With a disappointed sigh, she lost consciousness and lay on the floor before Chloe picked her up and carried her after him towards her new room. A room to study and watch to live in and make perfect. ,,All you have to do is learn," he murmured and pushed up his glasses, which were slightly out of place. He put his hand on her cheek, paused for a moment and looked at the machine in the corner. All he needed was the outside and he would have her for eternity. ,,And then you'll be mine...forever," he said, giving her a gentle kiss before pulling away from her for now. He closed the door behind him and just waited for his darling to wake up. There was still a lot to do to make her complete.
°To make her feelings perfect, her outside, her inside and her whole being his. Right down to her soul, she would be his.

Yaya's Cookies, and how it affects Spirits - Boboiboy AU
Contains OCs, OOC
___________________________
A spirit's job is no easy task, or that's how it is nowadays since civilization came into the picture. Keeping balance, taking care of the planet... It's hard work. But that's why the spirits aren't bound by ordinary biological rules. They can easily shrug off radiation or poisoning.
So why did Yaya's cookies affect Taufan in such an adverse way?
Granted it was made with poisoned goat milk, but her cookies have proven themselves to be quite lethal even without the milk.
There are also certain exceptions to this, but he doesn't know why a spirit like Taufan would go manic while they didn't.
The spirit of light has a hypothesis in mind, but he can't confirm it just yet with so little data. Perhaps a few interviews are in order.
Ah, what boredom does to the mind.
________________________________
The first spirit that Solar contacted was Forte, the spirit of Fortification, the youngest known spirit, and works indirectly for TAPOPS
It was also known that she likes to spar with Yaya to practice her power and skill. Yaya was fond of the little spirit too, acting like an older sister to her (despite Forte being 528, not like he can criticize them).
"Hi Elder Solar! How are you?" Forte's face appeared on the tablet, she appears to be lying on her back, she must have been playing while waiting for Veronica.
Being the youngest, she had taken to calling the Elementals 'Elder', after learning they are the oldest living spirits as of now to annoy them.
"Hello Forte. I am fine, I simply have a few questions for you regarding Yaya's cookies"
"Oh... those.." Forte's face seem to droop a little. "What about them?"
"How did you feel when you ingested them?"
"That's it? Well, it was fine at first"
"At first?" Solar asked with a raised eyebrow
"You see..."
"Here, I made some cookies for you Forte" Yaya said, handing the little spirit a basket of cookies.
"Really? I can have them?" Forte asked as she looked at the adorably shaped cookies.
"Of course! Try one"
Forte picked out one of the cookies and tried taking a bite. It's weirdly hard, the taste reminds her of the wasteland days...
"How is it? I made it with a new recipe"
"Ummm, it's not bad, could use a little more flavor"
"I see. Thank you for the feedback" Yaya nods
"Ever since then, she kept handing me cookies, but they start to taste even worse somehow... There are times of improvement but very little" She sighs. It was dreadful.
Solar can only share his condolences for Forte's fate. At least she hasn't fainted from it or become manic.
"Anyways, I have a question for you too Elder!"
"What is it?"
"Can you help me figure out the fuel for this one piece of equipment? We're trying our best but it keeps blowing up. I can use my power so it doesn't get destroyed but everyone would rather have more permanent solution". Forte had picked up a fondness for weapons and many technologies, as they align well with her power, not so well with chemistry though.
Since he's bored. Why not?
"Send it's data over, I'll see what I can do"
"Thank you Elder! Also, Yaya decided to hand out her treats to engineers and mechanics that came to assist us a while ago. She handed a box of them to Remiel. He's an android so he should be fine. Not sure about Kanoa or Mr Esther though
"I see. I'll ask them"
"Wow. Elder Solar socializing? Oh wait, lemme guess. You're doing some kinda experiment aren't you?"
"It is just a test to pass the time" Solar simply stated the truth, he is definitely not slightly miffed about Forte poking fun at him.
"Sure sure whatever helps you sleep at night. Wait you even sleep-"
"Just send me the data"
It wasn't nothing Solar couldn't handle. He quickly found a way around the "spontaneous combustion".
_______________________________
"Hello Solar. How may I help you?" A polite voice had picked up the call. He knows who it is.
"Hello Remiel. I heard Yaya gave you a box of cookies"
Remiel, an android made by a spirit. Solar's quite curious about his functions. For a creation from 50000 years ago, his functions are quite advanced and mysterious.
Raziel knew what she was doing
"Yes. It was kind of her. I assume this isn't the only reason you called?"
"Correct. I am currently studying the reason why we spirits can't seem to handle them" He doesn't have that many options to be honest. Only 11 spirits are confirmed to exist. His brothers liked to keep in touch with the other spirits and Solar himself really had no complaints.
"If it's the results you are looking for... Kanoa is currently curled up in bed. She is recovering. Briar also had some, but he is alright from what I've observed"
"Thank you Remiel"
"You're welcome".
________________________________
"Greetings, Solar" A voice rang out in his mind before he could contact the next spirit he knows.
"Greetings to you too, Neira" Or Oneira if he goes by the name her master gave her. Although she initially introduced herself as the spirit of Dreams, her true identity is the Spirit of Sentience. As such, it allows her to tamper with the senses.
One of which being one-way telepathy.
Solar pressed call, and Neira's face showed up on the screen, smiling.
"I assume you had an experience with Yaya's confectioneries?"
"It's not exactly me per say, but I experience it through Nisha"
"Do elaborate"
Nisha stared at the adorable box of cookies Yaya had made, then at Yaya and Ying.
One's face was almost as bright as the sun in anticipation, the other looked at her with pity. Nisha knows why. She had heard rumors of the dreaded treats.
But she can't simply say no, not when the pink hijabi girl made it out of such good will. She can only hope it tastes good.
So she goes ahead and took a bite.
Shakily, she gives them an "Okay" hand signal.
"Of course, Nisha wasn't actually okay. It absolutely decimated her taste buds in a bad way, and I had to numb her tongue. Then she suffered from a stomachache later" Neira sighs.
"I... see" Solar sweatdropped. Nisha was still in medical care, rehabilitating her movement. 64 years in a cryopod can do that to a person.
"Before you end the call. I have something to tell you as a spirit that's very experienced with the senses"
"And that is?"
_______________________________
'With some input from Neira, the spirit of Sentience. I've confirmed my suspicion. We were simply vulnerable to the taste of the cookies, not the actual ingredients itself. It's both quite the relief and cause for concern'

Writer's Interview Meme
I got a tag from @copperplatebeech, thanks much! This is the writer's interview meme.
How many works do you have on ao3?
148 works in a large variety of fandoms. I also have an enormous volume of work I never posted to AO3, mostly short pieces, which live in my old fic journal on Dreamwidth.
What’s your total word count?
319,626 words! So that's about 2k words per fic which feels accurate. Obviously I have longer and shorter pieces.
What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
My top fic is actually something I wrote in 2017 (it's totally great and cool to comment and kudos older stories!). It's a soulmate trope rewrite of Disney's Tangled called wide open to the sun and I still regularly get kudos on it. I think it was probably recced somewhere because the exchange I wrote it for was pretty small.
Then it's diamond heart, which is an Adventure Zone Magnus/Taako get-together fic, followed by this love left a permanent mark, a short Star Trek: TNG piece about Data asking Geordi to help with his android maintenance, which is soft fluff.
4 is build a bridge even where there is no river, which is a Game of Thrones fic from 2014 (some ancient show speculation) that's a Daenerys/Arya get-together fic. #5 is blinders, which is an ATLA Toph/Zuko post-series romcom.
Kind of funny that they're all different fandoms and pairing types, but I guess I'm most successful with my get-together fics -- that seems to be the theme.
Do you respond to comments? Why/why not?
There was a point a few years ago where I stopped responding because I was stressed out but I eventually got back into the habit, and if someone comments on something old and I realize I never responded to someone else on that fic, I usually respond back, even to a very old comment. Why not? I always feel like it's nice to say thank you.
What's the fic you've written with the angstiest ending?
though love be a day, Steven Universe, Pearl/Rose. The story of Pearl and Rose's last date before Steven's birth. Pretty sure I made myself cry reading it.
What's the fic you've written with the happiest ending?
I think mostly I write happy endings. It might just be recency bias but maybe the happiest one is the exponent of breath, Good Omens, A/C, in which there is a lot of fluff, a proposal, and a wedding. I had a lot of fun with that.
Do you write crossovers?
Recently I haven't, but I definitely have in the past and I wouldn't say no in the future if I had a good idea. I really like fusions where you put the characters from one fandom into another fandom's world.
Have you ever received hate on a fic?
I got some anon hate on a fic I wrote for an exchange; the story wasn't quite received like I'd expected and people thought I'd tripped a DNW, so. Fair. I ended up doing pre-reveals edits to address the issue (I know, this is bad form) and it remains in the Anonymous collection to this day lol. No further questions.
Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
Very rarely -- I hardly ever have ideas for smut, although I do read it and enjoy it. It's almost always f/f (write what you know) and soft and romantic.
I am plotting an Ineffable Wives smutfic right now but it's still very early in the plotting stages and may never come to fruition. I hope it does -- I'd like to write more.
Have you ever had a fic stolen?
I've been putting my fanwork on the internet since 2001, it would be a shock if it hadn't been stolen at some point, but I'm not aware of it ever happening.
Have you ever had a fic translated?
I don't think so.
Have you ever co-written a fic before?
It's been a very long time. I wrote a bunch of stuff with my ex-wife that is probably all off the Internet now, and my BFF and I used to write together a ton when we lived together, but it's been a long time since she and I have shared fandoms and worked on something together. I've always done a round robin/roleplay type of thing where you pass bits of writing around to each other and play off each other. I do think it would be fun to write something with someone else again though, now that Google Docs makes that a lot simpler.
What's your all-time favourite ship?
All-time? I really can't say. Before Good Omens I liked shipping little bits of everything, especially f/f rarepairs, but I've gone through a lot of cycles. Some old favorites are Cardcaptor Sakura - Eriol/Sakura, Avatar: The Last Airbender - Toph/Zuko, Steven Universe - Garnet/Pearl. Right now tops is Aziraphale/Crowley of course.
What's a WIP that you want to finish but don't think you ever will?
In like March, I started writing a fic where both Crowley and Aziraphale were turfed out of their homes at the beginning of S2 but I couldn't quite figure out where I was going to go with it -- I just wanted them to both be in this uncertain place when Gabriel showed up and both aware of the precarity of their positions. But the rest of the plot has failed to come to me, so idk if I'll finish it. If that inspires someone else, feel free to run with it.
What are your writing strengths?
I hope it's character voices; if I can't hear the dialogue in my head I know it's not right. I also try to write good descriptions and entwine feelings with said description.
What are your writing weaknesses?
I read copper's answer to this and had to laugh in sympathy because I'm currently untangling the ridiculously long sentences in my WIP and wondering why it is I've never found an em-dash I didn't like. I also overuse semi-colons.
My writing weaknesses also include the fact that I will start writing without having a plan, ending, or plot, just because I thought of a good piece of dialogue.
What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?
I don't know any other languages but honestly I feel like I tend to go along with fandom convention for this -- so in Japanese language fandoms I feel like honorifics are important and I'll use them, but beyond that it's all English for me.
What was the first fandom you wrote for?
I wrote my first fic in 2000/2001-ish and it was a Cardcaptor Sakura fic in which Syaoran and Sakura get together after the end of the series as young adults. I emailed a webmaster I admired and they posted it on their Geocities website. Yes I am old!!
What's a fandom/ship you haven't written for yet but want to?
I'm kind of stuck on my one favorite thing right now but I'm also rewatching The Good Place and I feel like it would be fun to write for. Sitcoms are really hard imo, I have written Community and Brooklyn 99 and it's really hard to get the humor balance right, but when you do, it pays off great.
What's your favourite fic you've written?
I'm pretty sure this is recency bias as well but recently I got a comment on wake with thirst, which is a Good Omens Michael gen fic that retells bits of the Good Omens story from Michael's POV, and when I reread the fic, I found myself kind of mad that no one else has read it, because I do honestly love it. I feel like I did some clever stuff there in the bits between the canon knowledge we have of Michael. I had fun getting into their weird POV, and also torturing them a bit. But also it's gen-fic about an angel almost no one likes so I get why it hasn't gotten a lot of attention. The Michael and Shax section is probably my favorite.
Tagging!! Obviously please feel free to take this if you see it, but I will tag @carry-the-sky, @ngkiscool, @bl0ndwave, @may--hawk, and @curiouspupsicle just as a random selection of folks!

In-Character OC Interview
tagged by @arwenschepers
answering for my best and belovĂšd android detroit
Are you named after anyone?
“No, though Vektor more or less chose my name for me, after tiring of referring to me as my official name of D3TR0-17.”
When was the last time you cried?
“I can’t produce tears, but if I could
” His features are a mangled uncertainty that leads you to think the answer might be ‘now.’
Do you have kids?
At this, Detroit’s eyes light up and he fumbles for something half concealed beneath the hem of his shirt. He detaches it from his belt, holding it up for you to see: an old Tamagotchi in a light blue shell, small nicks peppering across the screen. “This is Avy. I found him in Mattix’s pawn shop.”
Do you use sarcasm a lot?
“However much it takes to irritate Vex on any given day, which is probably not a lot but he might beg to differ.”
What’s the first thing you notice about people?
“Mannerisms, body language. It is what I was designed for.”
What’s your eye colour?
He reaches a finger to rest just below his right eye and says, “Originally they were both this shade of blue, but then
” He frowns. Gestures to the left eye, a soft brown that does not match. “There was a mistake during manufacturing.”
Scary movies or happy endings?
“Scary movies are more inclined to activate my emotional receptors, which makes me feel more in touch with the human experience.”
Any special talents?
“Vektor says I have a skilled mouth.”
Where were you born?
“I was created at the AURAndroid Facility.”
Do you have any pets?
“I have Avy
that is the closest I might ever get to having a pet companion.”
What sort of sports do you play?
“I don’t understand the appeal.”
How tall are you?
“Five feet. Ten inches. And three-fourths.”
What was your favourite subject in school?
“I was programmed with knowledge pre-installed and thus have no use for schooling, but I am still eager to learn anything that isn’t already in my database.”
What is your dream job?
His brow furrows as he contemplates the question. “I was designed to be a top of the line android on the force.”

Summary from June 13 to June 14 for the Korean stage greetings of the film 366 Days, featuring Akaso Eiji:
📌 June 13–14 Korean Stage Greeting Summary
What is that round thing in the left pocket of his pants?
(Some fans speculate it's a newly bought pair of noise-canceling headphones, others joke it's popcorn that got stuck between his teeth during the Okinawa screening 😂)
📍 Setagaya Ward, Futako-Tamagawa – 6/13 19:20 Screening
Q: First impressions of Korea?
Akaso: The food is really good.
Q: Anything you liked?
He said he arrived the day before, and that today both the stylist and hairdresser were Korean—it was his first time trying Korean-style makeup/hair and he found it very interesting.
Q: Highlights of the film?
He mentioned the beautiful scenery in Okinawa and how it might make people want to visit. The key theme is the missed connection between Minato and Miu—he hopes people focus on that.
📍 6/13 19:30 Screening
Introduced himself in Korean as “I’m Brad Pitt,” then immediately added, “Just kidding!” 😂
Said he had interviews that day, and hopes fans will be able to see them soon.
Film highlight:
Scenes where Minato and Miu live together mark a big turning point—he hopes fans will notice that.
Closed with “Korean is so hard” in Korean (with a laugh).
📍 6/13 19:40 Screening
What did he do the day before?
Ate grilled beef intestines and large intestines. He said he still wants to eat grilled pork belly.
Film highlight:
How the characters miss each other because they care too much. He wants fans to observe each character's inner feelings.
📍 6/13 19:50 Screening
He went for a walk and practiced Korean with store clerks, but they kept replying in Japanese—so he couldn’t really practice 😆
Wants to try going to a Korean jjimjilbang (sauna).
The film has many tearjerking scenes. He joked that he wants to wipe everyone’s tears but since he can’t be there, “please use a handkerchief yourselves” đŸ€Ł
For the giveaway, Akaso was supposed to choose seats—but picked five empty ones. He joked his blood type is B and birthday is March 1, so maybe it should be seat B-13 đŸ€Ł Finally, someone won.
📍 6/14 12:05 Screening
Said he went to a sauna the night before and felt really refreshed. Had BBQ at noon and felt sleepy afterward 😮
Behind-the-scenes: the beach scene where Minato lies down—he wasn’t crying, it was just the sun being too bright to keep his eyes open.
Trivia giveaway question:
“When Himari listens to the MD, is it track 1 or 2?”
📍 6/14 12:15 Screening
Favorite scene? He mimed the headphone-tapping gesture.
